Many gyms believe and promote themselves to be the best and have the best community.
Thats great and i think they all have the right to say and believe that. What coaches and gyms are doing right now in the industry is great and most coaches are moving away from them daft 6 week transformation gyms of starving people just to get quick before and after pics and now educating people of life long changes that make a bigger better impact on there lives and the people around them.
Let me tell you why we (coaches) believe we have built the best gym in the city. First of all we dont cater for everyone and over the years we have seen people come and go and there are many reasons for this but the main reason is “bad attitudes and massive egos dont last long” We have a very strong tight nit community of members that for one are here to help themselves become better and two they are willing to help and support other members they are training with.
So lets talk about the members and there impact on the gym. Our members are all eager to learn and the minute they walk through the doors they are able to let there guard down and open to become better for what ever goal they have. some members are here to lose weight some are here to improve there health and some are here for performance based competitions, but they all have one similar trait that they bring with them and thats who ever they are training with at the time they are there to bring massive energy and provide motivation to help eachother.
over the years i have seen people join that at first was not willing to leave there ego at the door or they wasnt able to let there gaud down and be open to interact with other member but as time went on we seen these people gradually form close relationships with other members and in tern has helped them become a much better person.
With that being said we know for a fact we can help members achieve there goals which we have a proven record for but first of all thre members have got to be willing to help themselves and thats exactly what they do.
Now lets talk about the coaches. At Phoenix Fitness, we believe that the foundation of any successful fitness journey lies in the quality of coaching. Our coaches stand out as the best for their expertise, commitment to safety, and ability to draw out the best in every member
We provide a safe place for people to come and train. Our coaches come from all different backgrounds and bring different qualities to there coaching. We have a coach who has years of experience in coaching professional athletes we have one who was once a member so has the phoenix DNA within him and will always understand every step of a members journey. Some coaches have seen been there from day 1 and has been through all the struggles the gym has faced over the years like COVID and helped the gym grow past them days to be were it is today.
All the coaches here foster a supportive community atmosphere and we make everyone feel like family. we do this by leading by example and making sure through daily weekly and monthly accountability to motivate members to achieve there goals they are set.
Building relationships and and encouraging camaraderie among members is something we teach and implement from day 1. We provide events and in house friendly fitness comps to help with this and we always get a great turn out. Events such as summer and winter Games, xmas night out, sunday coffee runs, and we organise trips away to other fitness comps such as turf games, Athx and Hyrox.
Our coaches don’t just lead workouts, they inspire transformations wether its physical or mental. With their infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support, they help members set and achieve ambitious goals. one of our members recently messaged a coach and said “100% The best gym i have ever been too, and over the years i have been to them bloody all”
